Size & Measurement Guide

Choosing the correct size is essential for a comfortable cosplay fit. Before placing your order, please take your body measurements carefully and compare them with the size chart provided on the product page.

Cosplay costumes may have different cuts, materials, and construction details. Please do not rely solely on your usual clothing size, as sizing can vary between designs.

Important Sizing Notes

  • Between two sizes? We generally recommend choosing the larger size. It is usually easier to make minor alterations to a slightly larger costume than to adjust one that is too small. However, consider the costume's design and fit before making your final choice.

  • Men's and women's measurements: Our measurement guide covers the main body measurements for both men's and women's costumes. If you are doing crossplay, please provide measurements that accurately reflect the body shape you will have when wearing the costume.

  • Measurement differences: Please allow approximately 1–2 inches (2.5–5 cm) of variation in standard size measurements. For custom-sized costumes, a variation of approximately 1–3 inches (2.5–7.6 cm) may occur due to manual measurement and production.

  • Measurement units: 1 inch = 2.54 cm.

How to Take Your Measurements

We recommend asking someone to help you take your measurements, especially for shoulder width, back measurements, and sleeve length. Stand naturally and keep the measuring tape comfortably close to your body without pulling it too tightly.

Wear lightweight, close-fitting clothing while measuring. Record each measurement carefully and use the same unit as the product size chart.

Body Measurements

Measurement How to Measure
Height Stand straight without shoes. Measure from the floor to the top of your head.
Shoulder Width Measure across your back from one shoulder point to the other. This is a straight-line measurement, not a circumference.
Chest / Bust Measure around the fullest part of your chest or bust. Keep the tape level across your back. For bust measurements, wear the bra or undergarment you plan to use with the costume.
Waist Measure around your natural waist, usually the narrowest part of your torso. Keep one finger between the tape and your body.
Hips Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Sleeve Length Measure from the shoulder point, along the outside of your arm, through the elbow to your wrist.
Upper Arm Circumference Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm while keeping your arm relaxed.
Neck to Crotch Measure from the shoulder area down the front of your body to the crotch. This measurement is useful for bodysuits and one-piece costumes.
Inseam Measure along the inside of your leg, from the crotch to the ankle or desired trouser length.
Thigh Circumference Measure around the fullest part of your thigh.
Calf Circumference Measure around the fullest part of your calf.

Foot & Boot Measurements

If your costume includes fitted boots or footwear, the following measurements may also be useful. Check the product page to see which measurements are required.

Measurement How to Measure
Foot Length Measure from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe.
Foot Width Measure across the widest part of your foot.
Ankle Circumference Measure around the narrowest part of your ankle.
Calf Circumference Measure around the fullest part of your calf.
Boot Height Measure from the bottom of your heel or sole to the desired top edge of the boot.

For footwear, measure both feet and use the larger measurement when checking the size chart.

Tips for Accurate Measurements

  1. Keep your body in a natural standing position. Do not hold your breath or pull your stomach in.

  2. Keep the measuring tape level when measuring around your chest, waist, hips, arms, and legs.

  3. Do not pull the tape too tightly or leave it too loose.

  4. Take each measurement twice to reduce errors.

  5. Write down your measurements in inches or centimeters before checking the product size chart.

  6. If someone else is helping you, make sure they follow the same measurement points described above.

Crossplay & Custom Costume Measurements

If you are purchasing a costume for crossplay, please provide accurate measurements based on the body shape and undergarments you will have when wearing the costume.

For example, if you plan to wear a bra or other shaping garments while cosplaying a female character, take your chest or bust measurement while wearing those items.

For custom-sized costumes, please follow the measurement requirements provided for the specific product. Not every costume requires every measurement listed in this guide.

If you have special fitting requirements, please include them in the Special Instructions field when placing your order, or contact our team before purchasing.
